Today was my third day of school. I am posting a picture of my and Rieko in our school uniform. They have school slippers and bathroom slippers. You walk in the door, take of your shoes, go to the cubbys get your slippers out, and wear them in the school. But in some of the rooms you don`t wear your slippers, (I don`t know why!) so then you take them off and put them at the door. And when you go to the bathroom there is four pairs of slippers (and five stalls) you take off your school slippers leave them at the entrance and put the bathroom slippers on. But if people are cleaning in the bathroom, and you need to go to the bathroom the slippers will probably be being used. So you go to the room beside it (the boys bathroom) and take a pair of the bathroom slippers, use them and then put the back.
Japan is soo different from what I am used to!!

Wow! Different shoes for different things! Wow Japan is deffinatly different from here! It must be cool to see all of the customs!
So many slippers! How many pairs do you have?
I'm glad you are having such a great time and that you are keeping an open mind - the food looks so interesting - learn all you can - it will give you such a jump on so many people here who have never had the courage to even travel out of state.
